Candles, Oils and Herbs; Essentials from any Witches
cupboard. Once we understand the principles of using
Candles, herbs and oils in magic, we know how to apply it
in every spell we craft. Jacki Smith from Coventry
Creations comes to this workshop / lecture with a system of
herbal magic that begins with intuition and ends in
results.
Starting with candles, Jacki shows you how to use this
powerful tool in spell crafting. The candle itself can be
equated to the powers of creation and the potential for
life. All the elements necessary for Magic and creation are
manifested through one tool. Made up of Earth, molded
through Water, cooled and formed through Air and once
energized and lit, Fire and Spirit are added. This compact
tool is a powerful force that can easily be programmed and
channeled to manifest your intentions. In this class we
will explore the many magical ingredients that go into a
Coventry Candle, the many ways to charge your candles and
how to expand your candle spells.
In Coventry magic, Jacki uses a lot of herb and oils. Like
many magical tools they can seem complicated and too much
to memorize; any way to simplify this will help you
increase your powers of manifestation. Jacki’s brand of
herbal magic enhances the energy of the herbs and oil to
create blends that craft a story of magic. Jacki’s 15+
years of professional herbal magic through her candles and
incense has culminated into a powerful and efficient
process. Through her own personal studies, she discovered
how to balance her blends and invite the spirits of the
herbs to blend and empower her magic.
If you are coming to the Experiential Workshop Jacki will
have handouts, but you will want to take lots of notes in
the margin or just bring a notebook and pen. During this
workshop, you will use one of the Coventry candles to build
a powerful spell. We will go through creating a powerful
herbal infusion to anoint your candle, choosing the correct
symbols to inscribe into your candle and how to use your
altar to add to your spell. Jacki shares a great many
spells and will talk about the expanded magical properties
of many herbs and oils. It is a lot to pack into 4 hours,
and difficult to finish on time.
Jacki Smith is the founder of Coventry Creations and is
what she calls a “Practical Witch”. Notorious for crafting
spells with items and ingredients found in most cupboards,
her kitchen magic knowledge begins with being a crafter of
magical products since 1992, and an initiated witch since
1988. The groundbreaking products that she developed over
15 years ago started the current trend we see in today’s
spiritual tools. Jacki’s magically charged candles are a
staple throughout the pagan communities and are quickly
becoming commonplace in mainstream America.
Jacki’s growing experience has taken her on many spiritual
paths and brought her many different spiritual teachers.
Her own brand of magic has become well know across the
country as “Coventry Magic” and has a following that spans
all 50 states and many countries. It continually surprises
